If Conditional

Dalam bahasa inggris kita sering menemukan kata atau kalimat bentuk pengandaian yang biasa disebut if conditional. Kali ini wawan, akan membagi ilmu tentang rumus membuat kalimat if conditional. Semoga bermanfaat.

Type I:
if + Present tense, Future tense
or
Future tense, if + Present tense
example: If I have time today, I will phone my friend. = I will phone my friend, if I have time today.

Type II:
if + Simple Past, Conditional I (=would + Infinitive)
or
Conditional I (=would + infinitive), if + Simple Past
example: If I were you, I wouldn't do that. = I wouldn't do that, if I were you.

Type III:
if + Past Perfect, Conditional II (= would + have + Past Participle)
or
Conditional II (= would + have + Past Participle), if + Past Perfect
example: If I hadn't helped you, you would have failed. = You would have failed, if I hadn't helped you.
